Unreasonable

An unreasonable, yet compassionate friend … This is the best description of a coach I have ever come across.

As your coach I will always be on your side. I will always be in your corner. I will never let you fall. I will always have your back.

And you will find me unreasonable. I will never let you get away with anything less than your best. No matter how high you have risen there is always another level and I will be pushing you to get there.

As your coach, it is not my job to pander to your ego or to do your job for you. It is my job to help you perform at your very best, each time and every time. It is my job to help you get the results you want and deserve.

I know you have one hundred times more potential than you are displaying right now.

To quote Goethe “If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however, if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you become that.”

As Marcus Buckingham wrote about the best managers, in ‘First Break All the Rules’ “They employ tough love… a mindset… that reconciles an uncompromising focus on excellence with a genuine need to care.”

So the questions for this week are;

• Who do you have in your corner who cares enough about your success to trade in the truth with you?
• Who do you have supporting you with the skills and experience to help you think and perform at a much higher level?
• What could you achieve if you did?
