Life lessons: The 19 things I’ve learned during my coaching career
I’ve been coaching for 19 years.
In that time a lot has happened.
Back in 2005, when I started, Facebook was still a baby – and technology has evolved a lot.
Over that time, I have learned a great deal, and as I approach my third decade in coaching, I wanted to reflect on just how I’ve evolved.
You see, you should never stop learning nor you should stop improving. Sitting still is the best way to guarantee failure.
That’s why I’ve compiled my 19 key learnings from my 19 years as a coach.
Many are nuggets of wisdom uttered by some of the great thinkers of our time. Every single one has had an impact on me.
From Jim Rohn to Ghandi, I have been so inspired by these words that I thought it fitting to share them with you.
As well as reflecting on the past, I have been looking to the future.
As should we all.
Ask yourself this: How have you grown in the past 19 years?
Then ask yourself – can you still grow?
The answer is, and always will be, yes.
There is always room for improvement, be it physically, mentally, or within your career.
What do you want to achieve? And how can you get there?
These are huge questions, and ones that I’ve helped thousands of business leaders answer during the past 19 years – and hopefully for many more to come.
