Now is the time

With that new year comes a new opportunity to fashion a new outcome. What are you going to make of this brand new opportunity? It is up to you. Now is definitely the time to make some commitments. What are you going to achieve in this brand new year.

There is nothing quite so disappointing as a person or organisation with no ambition, with no aspiration. So start by getting that out of your head and onto paper. That will immediately make it more concrete and more readily communicated to others.

Then simply start applying completion dates to the end goals and suddenly you have a skeleton plan. Of course end goals usually need some first and even second steps. Do the same with these and you have a much more comprehensive plan.

Then all you have to do is pin your plan in your eyeline so you can constantly remind yourself of what you have promised to achieve and by when and you will be on your way to fashioning your best year yet.

So the questions for this week are;

• What will you do to make this your best year ever?
• Who will you become in these next 12 months that will propel you to being the person that you deserve to be?
• I know you weren’t created to be mediocre, what will be the proof of that 12 months from now?
• Think in ink.
